Waiting for the Covid Test Results
Unsure why two people can have covid swabs one after the other and one gets results in 24 hours and 36 hours later still have no results for the second.... Welcome to trying to travel to Abaco during a pandemic. It's January 1 2021, we were swabbed yesterday for the test in order to fly January 4 in the morning. We need results to submit to the Bahamian Health Visa folks in order to leave Canada and enter The Bahamas. Just some hoops to jump through to get back to our house on Guana. To make it more interesting, we had to drive to Toronto and pay $400.00 bucks for the test because Ontario is on full lock down now and Canada doesn't really want us to go anywhere😟 I have been on hold with the lab for probably two hours now and been cut off twice, but not giving up!! Our mantra is now, only know we're going when our asses are in seats. Until this time, despite having my bags ready to roll, I am still in Canada for the winter.
